An undated article on the Academy of the Punjab site says the Library holds them. A conference abstract on Sikh Scholar quotes an inscription on his manuscript. No British Library record was opened.

Bhai Maharaj Singh was a leader of resistance during the Second Anglo-Sikh War. The article says he was exiled to Singapore and passed away there in 1856.

The objects and four handwritten Gurmukhi manuscripts came to a British national collection in the 1920s from a descendant of the officer who arrested him, the article says. The abstract quotes a note on one manuscript dating its capture to 28 December 1849 at Jalandhar.
