The Encyclopaedia of Sikhism (1992-98) reports a copy found in the Panjab University library in Lahore before 1947, and four more in India, including Moti Bagh Palace and the Sikh Reference Library. It does not say whether the Sikh Reference Library copy survived 1984.

Piar Singh published a text in 1969. The Encyclopaedia says the tradition's two main sources link it to the Puratan tradition and to a lost manuscript also used for the B-40.
