The Encyclopaedia of Sikhism (1992-98) says they were still preserved in the palace. Maharaja Bharpur Singh (1840-63) acquired them from the Pir's descendants in exchange for land.

Pir Buddhu Shah, a Muslim admirer of Guru Ji, brought 700 followers to the battle of Bhangani and lost two sons and a brother there. The Encyclopaedia says he declined rich gifts and asked instead for these.
