The Sikh Museum site (copyright 2013) shows three letters to the Varanasi congregation from the Dr Gurpal Singh Bhuller collection. The Encyclopaedia of Sikhism (1992-98) says hukamnamas are kept at Takht Harmandir Sahib, Patna.

A separate anthology with a Devanagari transcription and English translation was published by Punjabi University in 1976.

Most of these are believed to be in Guru Ji's own hand. Letters of this period went as far east as Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet.
