The seat of Guru Ji
After being anointed in 1539, Sri Guru Angad Dev Ji returned to Khadur on the instructions of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and the place became the centre of the faith. Gurdwaras in the village mark sites from Guru Ji's life, including Gurdwara Tap Asthan.[EoS]
